How Ross Kana was invited to a concert where he met celebrities in Uganda

After appearing on the list of performers for this show, Ross Kana told Climax that he actually went to Uganda after being invited to perform in one of the country’s popular bars, but eventually ended up getting the opportunity to be invited to this big event.

He said, “After finishing my performance here, we met with Alex Muhangi, who organizes the ‘Comedy Store’ shows. This happened through people in Kigali who know him—they told him that I was here, and that if possible, we could discuss and maybe perform together.”

Ross Kana said he was happy that his discussions with Alex Muhangi went well and that he is now ready to perform for fans of the ‘Comedy Store’ events.

The artist, who has been in Uganda for some days, said that one of the things that excited him—both during his show on November 23, 2023, and afterwards—was how much people loved Rwandan music at a high level.

He said, “Here they really love music from Rwanda; you can see they appreciate our artists. Actually, I realized that maybe we don’t give them enough of it, because they love it so much.”

Ross Kana is expected to perform in Kampala at the ‘Comedy Store’ on November 26, 2025.
